What KARTIST is, and what it is not.
A public submission program with defined intake procedures.
A structured process for receiving and forwarding submissions into the KASMOS review system.
A transparent record of what is submitted, how it is reviewed, and who conducts that review.
- —Not a competition. There is no scoring, no ranking, and no awards.
- —Not an award platform. Inclusion in the program does not constitute recognition or endorsement.
- —Not a brand showcase. Submitted works are not publicly promoted through this channel.
- —Not a talent agency. KARTIST does not represent, manage, or negotiate on behalf of creators.
KASMOS is the system that conducts the review. All decisions regarding program rules, structure, and outcomes are made by KASMOS and Kayou Group. KARTIST is the intake mechanism — not the decision-making body.
Kayou Group
Kayou Group is the parent organisation. All program decisions, including final selections, are made at the KASMOS level or above.
KASMOS
KASMOS is the creative development and IP management system within Kayou Group. It conducts the review and determines all outcomes.
KARTIST
KARTIST is the open entry mechanism for KASMOS. It receives submissions and forwards them into the KASMOS review process. It does not make decisions.
Open to individual creators or teams worldwide. Applicants must be the rights holders of submitted works, or have obtained full and lawful authorisation. In the event of any ownership or infringement dispute, the organiser reserves the right to disqualify the submission.
No entry fee
There is no submission fee at this stage. Creators are not charged to submit their work.
No ranking or scoring
KARTIST does not rank, score, or publicly compare submitted works. The review conducted within KASMOS is not a competition.
No guaranteed outcome
Submission does not guarantee selection. Selection does not guarantee a contract, commercialisation, or any specific outcome. Each stage of the process has defined scope and exit conditions.
Rights remain with the creator
Creators retain authorship and rights. No rights transfer occurs through submission. Any change to rights status requires a separate written agreement.
All submitted information will be stored for evaluation and program administration purposes. Submission materials may be shared internally within KASMOS and Kayou Group for review and strategic assessment. Applicants may request withdrawal of their submission in writing prior to entering the Development Track.
